CURRENT MISSION

I am travelling to Turkey from Aug. 2th to Aug. 15th, and hope to meet as many fellow couchsurfers as possible. I aslo plan to meet an English backpacker called Robin and convince him/her to travel with me to Batman.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Paris, lived there until about 2 years ago, then moved to Israel. I now study at the Weizmann Institute to get my PhD in Chemistry. When I am not in the lab playing with molecules, I love travelling around Israel, hiking in the desert, sunbathing on the beach, going out in Tel Aviv, wandering along the quiet streets of Jerusalem on an early Saturday morning... Actually, anything this small country has to offer!

I am new here, so I guess that all my amazing couchsurfing experiences lie ahead!

Interests

I don't enjoy anything more than travelling - the feeling of being in a new place with new people and everything to discover. I have been across Europe and the Middle East, spent several months in South America, but my thirst for new discoveries has yet to be tamed.

When I am not on my way, I enjoy pretty simple things: I have been going salsa dancing twice a week for almost a year now (something I brought back from South America...) and enjoy it very much. I love spending time at the beach, hiking, skiing (not such a great idea if you live in Israel you will say...), cooking, eating good food and drinking good wine (after all, I am French...). I used to be an amateur actor and magician, I stopped a few years ago but plan to resume when I move back to Tel Aviv. And, well, obviously, I love spending time with my friends and my family.

But maybe the Middle Eastern roughness is not for you, and you prefer European sophistication? Then I can teach you about French culture! And who knows, if you happen to be there while I am visiting, then I can show you my beloved hometown, the city of lights...
