ABOUT ME

I am a pretty carefree person, I enjoy meeting new people and learning about new things. I love China and everything about it. My newest cultural obsession is Afghanistan.

I was a collegiate swimmer and am athletic. I like to stay in shape, and have just signed up for my first 10K (we will see how that goes).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am just looking for a couch to stay on as I am in the middle of moving from San Diego back home and then out to DC. But when I have a nice place of my own I am more than welcome to meet up with people and chat it up

I am a CS baby, heard about it from a friend and looked it up.

Music, Movies, and Books

Harry Potter, love. Three cups of Tea (a must read) along with Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns. Hot, Flat, and Crowded (gotta love the environment).

I will watch all types of movies (mainly comedy and chick flicks), except scary/thriller movies, cant do scary. I love Korean dramas (but they have to be subtitled obviously)

I will listen to almost anything (just not screaming rock) but my true passion would be hip hop & r&b, gotta be able to shake it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have camped on the great wall, and then hiked (not walked) the great wall
