Hello there,
My name's Gab. I was born and raised in a 400 living souls, peaceful and genuine belgian village like no other. Beer feeded ever since but not ended stupid.
About myself:
I stay cool! I like a good laugh, simple things.
I believe that the most important in life is to have good heart and spirit.
When i'm not outside exploring the world and its beautiful nature, i enjoy the peace and tranquility of home. Relax and have a good time, listen to a good old stuff, bake cookies, play some music whatever...
I've several centers of interests, among them: flora & fauna, contemplation & meditation, foreign cultures & history, music and art, cheese & wine...

Music, Movies, and Books

About music:
I play drums in a modest unrecorded attic-based quartet. It's purely instrumental and experimental.
I see music as a tree: the roots are african music, jazz is the trunk and the fruits and branches are funk, reggae, rock and other kinds of music.
I listen to music from all around the world, from Brazil to India. I got a few vinyls, essentially old hip hop stuff, some rock classics.
Music is everywhere and everything and i don't see a day without It.

About movies:
The Coen brothers, emir kusturica, jim jarmusch, david lynch, tim burton, hayao miyazaki, alex de la iglesia, larry clark, greg arraki, martin scorcese, alejandro amenabar and many others

About books:
I try to read the most i can. Fiction, non-fiction, art books, plant books...

I am also really keen on sports and games: squash, pool, poker, darts, beach-volley, bowling, petanque, ping pong...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are plenty of amazing things about plants. Just to know the wide range of uses you can make of them: fix diseases, make clothes, create good beverages and food, decorate your house and backyard, use as drugs...
The tropical forests only, are giants pharmacys.
Unfortunately people see it differentlty.

The thing about travels is meeting different people everywhere you go, sharing great times with them and occasionaly learn from them...
Learn special habits, languages and cultures from different countries.
I could teach you all i can do with my own two hands and talk with you about any topics. I like to share all i know about my different passions.
We have always something to learn from each other anyway.
