To meet, eat, greet my way around the world
I am 24, born and bred in Sydney,my parents are from Hong Kong. I work as a social worker providing counselling and support to Australia's disadvantaged. I also like shiny things.
I always know where my towel is and never trust a vogon. The Best nights out are the ones not planned but lived.
Never trust anyone who tries to tell you they are awesome because they're in a band, see the band first, then decide.
Sleep is for the weak.
Live music, going to concerts, the beach, swimming, learning languages, beer, food markets, going for a boogie, drunken karoke, reading, visiting museums and art galleries, did I mention shiny things?
- live music

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a child of the eighties and have an appreciation of he era which is reflected in my taste in music and movies. I like a bit of the old and the new. At the moment Blondie and Joy Division are on repeat. Movies, I am a big fan of the Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I also like foreign movies, independent cinema and good comedy. I also like listening to Kasabian, The Presets, Vampire Weekend, The Zutons, Bloc Party, The Beatles, to name a few. I thoroughly enjoy reading and my favourite books to date are " A Fine Balance" by Rohinton Mistry, "100 years of Solitude" by Gabriel Garica Marquez, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, a couple of good books are essential for the hurry up and wait that happens at air ports. At the moment I'm loving Flight of the Conchords and any tv show with good food. TV shows are only good when you're not travelling and bored...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been around the world for less than $50.00 a day, not easy I can tell you but well worth the effort. My pass port has lots of pretty stamps and it makes me happy to have made so many memories. I am still on my journey and no way near finished.
Teach, Learn, Share
I will happily discuss the marvel that is Australian slang in exchange for learning some colloquial language. I can speak English, and Australian (they are different) whatever language your parents speak at home, eg Spanish. I can cook (kind of) and I can share the art of awesome snadwich making with all!
