I'm a songwriter and performer of acoustic rock'n'roll indie music, i'm currently paying my dues on the road, my mission will NOT self destruct in 13 seconds; it will grow and thrive over time
as you may have guessed.... I have two passions.... Music and world exploration.... i'm hoping to meet like minded people and travel from town to town playing music, and exploring as I go!
I'm a huge movie buff, a medium sized history buff, and I believe wholeheartedly in the power of communication!
i'm energetic, up beat, and always looking to explore new surroundings... hence the whole travelling thing!
approach life with as much joy and honesty as you can muster and the rest will fall into place...
and a quotation if I may:
"the gods have a sense of humor don't they? If you lack the iron and the fizz to take control of your own life, if you insist on leaving your fate to the gods, then they will repay your weakness by having a grin or two at your expense.
Should you fail to pilot your own ship, don't be surprised at what inappropriate port you find yourself docked. The dull and prosaic will be granted adventures that will dice their central nervous systems like an onion; Romantic dreamers will end up working in a rope yard!"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
just getting started.... playing music from town to town can be either a lonely grueling slog through anonomous motels and pubs, or a chance to connect to the communities one visits! I believe couch surfing will help reduce the alienation and enhance the experience!
I have a modest couch in TORONTO, and love showing people around! When I'm not on the road, i'm a great host!
i'm new to this internet community, but I've spent many a wonderful visits back and forth with many close friends and family throughout the world!
I often host out of town musicians who need a place to crash after their shows! these inevitably end up in jam sessions
canoe tripping ( I led children on wilderness trips for 5 summers)
basketball ( what I lack in skill, i make up for in energy and effort)
baroque tapestry (early baroque mostly.. the later stuff just wasn't as hip.... )
reading.... especially while travelling (when else does one have the time)
- make up
- pub crawls
Music, Movies, and Books
Music? I'm tolerant of everything....... I don't listen to much current top 40, but don't judge those that do..... I'm very passionate about music... this is a discussion we can have when we cross paths (or couches)
Movies? If I had to choose a few, it'd be "the royal tenenbaums" "the big lebowski" and "the good the bad and the ugly"
books? again, these are the conversations I love having in person
Teach, Learn, Share
My grandma always said never arrive at another's home empty handed... as she got older, we used to get lots of "found" items i.e. coffee creamers, old newspapers and magazines.... we never turned them down... her mind was wandering, but her intentions were pure!
