I'm laid-back, curious, passionate about a lot of things. When I grow up I want to help fix the educational system and be a bike mechanic. I enjoy philosophical discussion, playing cards, and spontaneous jam sessions.

PHILOSOPHY

Respect pretty much sums it up. I try to be as understanding as possible and follow my intuition.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hitchhiked from Ithaca to the Adirondacks and stayed with four lovely hosts along the way. Everyone has been a great host, and shown me and my friend Sean a fun time.

Diary of a Drug Fiend by Aleister Crowley, The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster, Revolutionary Road by Richard Yates, books by Chekov and Stanislavsky, Dion Fortune, feminist literature, mythological history, the dictionary. I'm usually reading about four books at a time.

Pink Flamingos, Born Into Brothels, Blade Runner, City of God, My Neighbor Totoro, Laurel and Hardy, The Seventh Seal, and many others.

I listen to every genre from death metal to Spanish guitar, gamelan, hip hop, oldtime, swing, punk, etc. Cypress Hill, Burzum, Misfits, Animal Collective, Clarence "Frogman" Henry, Secrets Chiefs 3, Leadbelly, Kraftwerk, Toots and the Maytals to name a few.
