About Me

Traveling around the world, Changing my world view, Meeting many kinds of nice persons

Hi! I'm TOMATO. It's my nick name.
I'm from south Korea. I love my country.
But unfortunately, in my country, there is racism.
They think white guys are high level person.
And Black guys and East-southern Asian are low.
60 years ago, in Korea, there was a Korean war.
(north Korea invaded south)
At that time, many western countries supported the South korea.
So, in my opinion, since that time, they've have that fuckin mind.
And I really hate all kinds of racism and prejudice.
If I have that mind, then I wanna break my mind, change my mind.

When I was a child, I learned Tomato is vegetable.
But it looks like fruit.
My face is it of typical Asian.
But I want to be global person like Tomato.
I want to hug all kinds of people without any prejudice.
So, I made my nick name Tomato.

Nowadays I'm traveling around the world.
During this trip, I realized it that skin color, Nationality, etc are not important again.
We are same person. We live on same planet.
Only different thing is their personality.

1. It's not "can't", just I "don't"
But If I "don't" countinuously, then it will be "can't"
2. If it's impossible, Do it until be possible.
3. All what make me is only me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I prepared this trip, I saw the book(Bible for world travel), book editor recommended CS.
But at that time I was so busy, so I didn't and forgot.
Now I'm staying my friend's house in Amsterdam.
He recommended CS again. So now I'm trying it.

I don't have been use this web site.
But in Brazil, I met 2 guys. 1 is from Argentina, another is from Netherlands.
When I traveled in Argentina, I met him, join with his friends. And he guided his city. I went to his house and his coworker's birthday party. It was very nice experience. Because I could have local people's experience. Now he is not my friend any more.
He is my Brother.

And in netherlands, I met 2nd guy.
Eventhough I met him in Brazil during just 3days, I stayed his house during 2month. So I could met his many friends, have many kinds of nice experience.
Now Netherlands is my 2nd hometown. When I'll leave here, immediately, I'll miss Holland and many friends especially my new Brother.

LOVE, friedship, all kinds of good emotion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last march, I traveled Brazil.
When I arrived there first, I was so embarrassed and scared.
Because there were too many homeless people on the road.
But right now, Brazil is the best country for me.
There were many amateur musician on the road also.
When they play the music, normal person walking on the road, children, old guys, and even homeless people, everybody danced together.
It was not festival, carnival, and special period.
It's just normal day.
And I saw the scene like that many times.
After traveling Brazil, that great country make me think about happiness again.
They don't have a nice job, big house, great car, and some good things.
But I think they are more happy than people of my country.
They really know how to enjoy their life.
I envy them and I'm changing my mind.
