ABOUT ME

I'm a joyfull, talkative person who likes meeting with her friends, meeting new people and having a laugh.
I also like being on my own for a while, writing, reading or just going for a long walk.
I'm an actress and a singer, and i'm trying to earn my living with that. I have my own company along with 3 other girls, called Les Ongles rouges (the Red Nails) and we have a show going on where we remaster old french songs from the 30's/40's. We are currently writing our musical.
To earn my living, I work in a call center. I also do translations sometimes (subtitles for documentary films, websites...), I love it, it is more a pastime than a job.
I also take dancing classes and I do Pilates.
I played the piano for 14 years and stopped when I moved to Paris, but I'm planning to buy one as soon as I've found a new flat, so I can start playing again because I miss it.
I've been living in Paris for 8 years but I grew up in Grenoble, in the Alps, and I still have my family and lots of friends there, and it's where I feel at home, so I try to come back as often as possible. I really miss the mountain and the life there that is so much simpler than in Paris.
I'd like to move abroad and live in other cities for a while, maybe in London or Berlin, or in Eastern Europ.

Interests

I love music, nearly every kind of it. I love playing the piano.
I love going to the cinema.
I love dancing and singing.
I like going to an exhibition once in a while.
I like ending my day with a glass of wine in a bar or at home with friends.
I love skiing. I love the mountains. I love hiking, walking with snowshoes, I love everything about the mountains in winter and in summer.
I love travelling. I love London.
I love staying at home when it's pouring outside, lay in my bed and read or watch dvds.
I like to stay near a lighted fireplace.
I like doing outdoor activities in the countryside.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love musicals: Cabaret, Shall we Dance,The Sound of Music, All That Jazz, West Side Story and Cry Baby are my favourites.
I love Bollywood movies.
I love Almodovar, Woody Allen, Fatih Akin, Jim Jarmush, Gus Van Sant, David Lynch and Tim Burton's films.
Other than that,Donnie Darko, The Royal Tennenbaums, Ghost World, Goodbye Lenin, Das Leben der Anderen, Caramel, The Big Lebowski, Mysterious Skin, Lost in Translation, The Big Sleep and Vertigo are some of my favourite films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen the temples in Angkor when the sun rises.
And skiing when the sun sets on the mountains.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach French, I can teach the piano, I can teach Pilates.
I'd like to learn tap dancing, fencing, and how to use my camera to make beautiful pictures.
I could work with people on a play, a music or an art project. I could do translations for films or websites or anything (in french and english only).
