To change the world!
Hi there! We are Bec and Tim, from Brisbane Australia. We are both young teachers, Bec teaches history and Tim teaches science and horticulture. We have many talents, including but not limited to, reading, eating cheese, knitting, playing piano and singing moderately well. We are very sociable, likeable people. We support progressive politics, in particular we are against sexism and racism.
We want to fight against the machine, and we support those who take a stand against injustice in the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We've already explored several incredible cities via couchsurfing including Barcelona, Paris and Mexico City. We love couchsurfing because part of visiting different places is to get to know how the people in those cities live! We think everyone is interesting and has something to share, just like us, and we'd love to be able to share our experiences with people!
One of our favourite things to do while couchsurfing is to cook for our hosts. We're pretty good cooks, Bec knows some excellent Spanish dishes and Tim is pretty good at baking cakes.
eating good food,
watching films and docos,
we have a pet dog together, his name is Albert, and we only wish we could bring him with us!
Music, Movies, and Books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We built a fort once, with bedsheets, mattresses and pillows. It was ace! We watched Aladdin in it.
Teach, Learn, Share
We've read a lot of history, particularly on revolutions,
Tim plays bass guitar and can knit,
Bec can use a microwave and speaks Spanish!
