About Me

I getting to know people from all over. Life is wonderful and people make it. I may not always be able to be of help to everyone who comes my way, but if not, I'll always try to give the best advice I can! I think Couchsurfing is a genius and simple idea which in my experience works so well.

Live, laugh, love, do what you have to to keep yourself and those around you happy, avoiding a negative impact if at all possible. Community is key and communities like CS, along with the access this network gives all travellers to really experience community lifealifearound the world is revolutionary.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

Well, I know the way it is when you're wandering about on your own. The guide books lead you to where you'll find plenty of other people doing exactly what you're doing, when what you really want is to just BE somewhere, hanging out with the other people who ARE there normally. So I would be delighted to just hang out with someone visiting this city, and would love to have the favour returned by those living in the many cities which I wish to visit. We can go to the less obvious places and get a bit of a better idea of real life there!

An AMAZING stay at the beautiful little city of Charlottesville, Virginia. Benjamin, my host could not do enough to make my boyfriend and I feel right at home there. We got along so well and did lots of fun activities. The city was great, but our host made the experience perfect.

Making friends through couchsurfing while living in Copenhagen and New York. It's such a great way to meet like-minded people living in the same city, especially when you've just moved.

A brilliant house of friends and fun in Minas Gerais, Brazil, the host was very welcoming and the housemates there brought me a along to lots of events as part of a local arts festival. I was not even in the town for 48 hours and I felt so at home.

A wonderful couple put my friends and I up in Murcía when we were badly stuck at a festival. I've met lovely people passing through Málaga too.

Most things really. I love music, especially live gigs. I enjoy everything about food, shopping, cooking, preparing, watching people cook ... eating!! I really like reading English and Spanish fiction, along with cinema and theatre in general.
