One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived for some months in a pyramid on a mountain! in Cerro Otto, Bariloche, Argentina, with no clock, I did not know what time it was! I live there for many weeks isolated with a lot of books of Hinduism, Buddhism, Transpersonal psychology and even Astrology and occultism! later I gone vegetarian for a year and I transit for a lot of philosophy changes with out becoming dogmatic:) Now I am more into Philosophy and to get real about the fact of life, ja ja

Other amazing thing I done: I went to Brazil for first time with out any money, not knowing anybody!
yes, It was my first travel abroad, after a tour time in Uruguay with my "circus" friends (read info above) I was incredible eager to know Brazil, but I had not money, I just got the money for just one ticket either to come back to Argentina or to go to Brazil for first time! I was in Uruguay, I went to the Auto bus' ticket vendor windows and I said:
-I want to ticket to Brazil Please, What place would you recommend me?
_Florianopolis -he said.
I went there, it ended up to be and Island joint to the continent by a bridge, there was 42 beaches and 42 stops, people were getting off the bus on every stop, I did not know where I was going and I did not have any money either, I finally I got off in Canasveiras since the guy who I struck on conversation in the bus was going to Canaveiras and he said it was his preferred. I got off there, I was in Paradise! crystal clear warm water for first time in my life!
I did some juggling at the street for some nights to get some money and I became popular there and then I met my friends for first time, they invite me to work as a Snorkeling instructor with them and to live with them in the two sailboat they had! They where cool people from the Parana, Brazil, who has gone through their own adventure sailing for days until reach this beach, later I would do the same trip with them twice! in one of this daring trips we rescue 3 survivor of a shipwreck! and much more but I don`t want to overextend here, I will tell you more in person:)
I spent two summer that I remember and treasure! That was Amazing! A lot of memories.
My daring idea paid off big time! even though right now I would not take that kind of risk but still consider myself somehow adventurous after all this is CS! isn't?

Teach, Learn, Share

I loved the idea of the "CouchSurfing University" that the people from CouchSurfing proposed. I would love to learn new things for people or to share some activities related for that I list below Some of my "Useful" skills only :) and also in the meanwhile I tell you a little bit more about my experiences.

I can teach you Photography, I taught 3 Workshops in Spain last year and I work as a Photographer in Spain as I did in Boston for some time as well.

Guitar and bass are my specialty, but I can teach you Drums and keyboards also, I learned to play guitar when I was very young and at 18 I was already offering guitar classes, mostly Rock guitar and I did very well, fully Book! I then played in many bands and also I did a tour with a Band in Bariloche Argentina for a couple of months and I did other tour in the beach area of "La Costa Atlantica Argentina" and Buenos Aires for a year. I played in Many band, all different stiles.
I am still doing Music, Playing with bands or composing on the computer. If you got an instrument getting dust maybe it is the time to learn it:)

Juggling (some time ago):
I also taught juggling a workshops in Rosario y Bahia Blanca, Argentina.
I did shows for two months (3 to 4 shows a day) with a friend for the kids in poor areas of Rosario, Argentina.

Also with some friends went to Uruguay, rented a Circus Tent and put up a circus for the Summer, it was awesome! in Montevideo y La Paloma, Uruguay.

In Europe with some friend on a van we toured Europe seeing festivals like Aurillac, Tarrega, The European Juggling Convention and others, I still love to Juggle wanna learn?

I got certified as a lifeguard in Boston for the Red Cross and I work two years as a lifeguard to earn some extra money, I can teach you swimming or to improve your strokes;)

Snorkeling (some time ago):
I work two summers in Brazil living in a Sailboat for "the long Brazilian summer" with my friends in two Sailboats, We worked there offering Sailings trips with Snorkeling classes on an Island 20 (minutes from away from the coast "ilhia do frances") I also have the "Open Water Certification" for Scuba Diving from Pady, I got it in Mexico in Playa del Carmen, Yucatan. I can teach you some advance snorkeling techniques.

I have taught Spanish more than 200 people! I taught Spanish for long periods during my trips and I have my own material and program. I can teach you Spanish in English or in Spanish also I can offer you some English conversation help.

Painting: Well here I would love to find a teacher or meet other people interested on Painting.

I love the idea of having an exchange, barter, tandem, besides meeting a person to have something to learn or teach or some activities to share.
I did many exchanges and always 100% successful, please tell me about your skills and needs.
