To give back a little - London is a big old city and it helps to have a guide...
I am 32 and travel a lot, for work and to see the world. I also sometimes review books and recently I reviewed Fleur Britten's book 'on the couch', I had heard about the couch surfing phenomenon before, but this spurred me on and I decided to sign up. I like so many things - art, photography, markets, gardens, the countryside... I am passionate about London and even though I have lived here for years, I am still exploring!
LIfe is short, cliche but true! I'm a big believer in karma and believe in living a decent life - helping others and being positive.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can't actually host, as sadly I live in a tiny apartment, but would love to show visitors around London and meet for a coffee. I heard great reports from other surfers when I was in Central Asia recently, and thought it's a good thing to be involved with. So many people have helped me on my travels over the years, I feel it's time to give back.
None as yet, I am new to this!
I love music (blues, rock, soul, jazz - all sorts), decent new world wines, magazines, Central Asia, trains, travelling, indian food, movies - art, independent and blockbusters.
- indian food
Music, Movies, and Books
I love Saul Bellow, Jonathan Franzen, Eland travel books, the Babylon series for some light reading 'air babylon' 'hotel babylon' etc.
Movies - oddly I really like war films, but all types, music docu's, Curb your Enthusiasm is my favourite show.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelled solo to Tajikistan and Uzbekistan this summer, that was awesome.
