About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I spend most of my time pursuing my own happiness, but I am not happy if those around me aren't, so it isn't purely a selfish pursuit
ABOUT ME
I am a locally grown aspiring farmer. I have spent most of my life in St. Louis. I have a garden in the city, about 1/4 acre plot of land. I grow food, and raise bees, chickens and worms with the help of my room mates. I grow vegetables, but my love for them isn't satisfied by just growing them. I make jewelry celebrates their beauty. My favorite mediums to work in include glass, real vegetables and soil. I love cooking with a group of people Iron Chef style. Ingredient pot lucks are great. Magic happens
PHILOSOPHY
This life isn't very long, so I want to pack a lot into it, but also to understand it I want to see more. I am not interested in settling down. I want to accululate more and more experiences, and that is done by meeting new people, or traveling, reading books helps too, but I don't make much time for that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have had the opportunity to couch surf a few times, and have hosted a few times, but am planning a big bike adventure starting in January, so am looking to do more surfing soon.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The generosity I have experienced when surfing has been amazing. Most recently we hosted a man biking around the world. It was a great opportunity to ask questions, and get ideas for my bike trip.

Music, Movies, and Books
I think that most of my energy is spent being happy. I tend to like music that makes me feel other emotions. A really great song is one that makes me cry. I listen to country music for that reason. A classic artist that makes me feel is Ani Difranco, I also like emo guy solo guitar stuff, and duos like Iron and Wine.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was little I traveled to Puerto Rico, and went to Vieques. We were directed to go swimming at night in an atol on the island. I looked over at my brother and he was glowing. I was glowing. We learned that the water is full of phosflorescent organisms that were responding to the electricity in our muscles. It was amazing
Teach, Learn, Share
I know how to look after bees, and extract honey. I would love to learn other practical skills like cheese making, or tree house building
