I was born and raised in a rural Native Alaskan community, living a subsistance lifestyle. Attended college in the Lower 48 (mainland USA), and then returned to my home state.

PHILOSOPHY

There's more to see than can ever be seen; more to do than can ever be done (Lion King - Circle of Life). Get out & enjoy life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hiked across England (literally, sea to sea) and New Zealand. I've also hiked in Hawaii, Death Valley, Grand Canyon, Joshua Tree, and elsewhere. All my vacations are for hiking - it is my passion. I've summitted over 100 peaks in Alaska.

I enjoy any active outdoor adventure - hiking, running, skiing (alpine, x-country, back-country, light touring), biking (road and mtn), boating (kayak, canoe, packraft), climbing (rock & ice).
