mind cleaving pedal powered heartgasm
I enjoy language games, rhyming, reading about math, studying the holy book of the landscape, the mountains and rivers, playing with plants, learning about the vastness of the world's great mystical imagination. I like to dance a lot, and play music, I have a been a wildly successful rock and roll singer. I just like relaxing and seeing new things and trying to figure out what the world's like...our lots as humans, our responsibilities, magical powers.
I generally try to approach life as play. Be as honest as possible, with yourself, and others. Just exploring this wonderful place we are in called the world, and learning to develop our faculties of awareness, perception, concentration -- participating fully in the process of creation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I participate in the magic of daily life. I am travelling now, but hope to host couchsurfers upon my safe and glorious return.
I have toured all over the United States as a musician, always staying with strangers, who quickly become friends. I love seeing how people love, what their homes are like. I am extremely flexible, I bring my home with me everywhere; how wonderful to sleep under the stars?
I always bring food into the houses I stay in, and do what I can to help out: dishes, cleaning, etc. Humbleness and respect are very important.
I am a world music nerd. I like almost every type of music, from everywhere. Particularly into Qawwali and Tuareg music right now, but I think beatles will always be my favorite band.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have fairly obscure movie tastes. Mostly anything dealing with landscape. I really loved a movie from Iran which I saw in Mexico called Las Tortugas Pueden Volar. I like the director Alejandro Jodorowsky, Tarkovsky, John Whitney, Peter Hutton. Also really like zombie films, and anything postapocalyptic.
Music....dadada...my favorite is listening to my brother gabriel play guitar. i love khyal music, dhrupad, and qawali, some nepali pop. I like Led Zepplin, and the beatles, and jimi hendrix and that era of psychedelic rock. Also really like dubstep, thats my favorite for dancing these days.
