Currently a grad student studying climate change, specifically snow, ice and glaciers. I'm a climber, skier, runner, cyclist, etc., which goes well with the whole geology-environmental sciences thing. Finished my undergrad in '07, then spent the next two years bumming around, working as a climbing guide in Maine, a geologist in Seattle, and asst. managing a ski rental company in Colorado. Spent the two months prior to beginning my masters program traveling around western Europe and I can't wait to travel again. Upcoming trips include someting on the Cali coast, China/Taiwan in June, and hopefully Nepal in Spring '11.
Climbing, Skiing, Mountain towns, Colorado, hiking, biking, backpacking, friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent two months traveling around Western Europe, the whole trip was amazing, but hands down my time in the mountains of Switzerland was the best. Unbelievable scenery and mountain culture. I love the mountains.
