About Me

A simple person with simple needs. I guess I am solitary by nature yet friendly, broad minded, easy going person who enjoys travelling, sugar crafting, reading, just being surrounded by nature.Originally from a family of farmers and entrepreneur in a small town in India, I was sent off to different places for better education and hence in the bargain travelled quite a bit. Experienced rural as well as urban life up, close and personal. My professional life brought me to varied cities and introduced me to new horizons and broader perspectives. Fortunately, my partner too enjoys travelling so we save up and travel to appreciate diverse cultures and experience global exposure as and when possible. However both of us are not really the seven countries in seven days travellers. Being a citizen from a country of assorted cultures, I believe in the policy of live and let live. For a living, I worked as a media professional for last ten years for other companies. Presently I freelance in media while pursuing higher studies and indulge in sugarcraft. As a hobby, I craft edible designs, cakes, desserts etc. If you wish, you are welcome to go through my blog at-
During my travels, I observe insights and and try to learn various cultures. I also have a Facebook page, Insights, where I present the simple way of life followed by people across diverse cultures. The day to day life nuances hold a complete different meaning when seen through another perspective and I document them here. If you wish, you can take look by clicking on the following link-

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel racism and patriarchy are detrimental to humanity. Through travelling, we can understand, accept and respect the differences of various cultures. Travel is the way to eradicate inequalities and remove stereotypical thinking.
