About Me

CURRENT MISSION

if i have one... its to make the most of each and every day.

ABOUT ME

I'm new to the official couchsurfing network, but feel like I've been a couch surfer for years! ( many a night spent on a couch or floor and love to be able to offer hospitality at my home when ever I can).
I'm currently on study leave from my job in Australia and following a flying visit to New York City I am in Dublin for 2 months. Keen to network with others traveling here and looking to explore the treasures and adventures that Dublin has to offer.

Interests

outdoor adventures ( camping, walking, climbing, cycling) . cooking and eating good food with great people and tasty conversation. live music, theater, good books, imagining a more just world and working with others to move closer to that dream step by step!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I know its totally corny, but the most amazing thing I think I have ever done was to meet, fall in love, marry my husband Brian!
Other favorite memories include: living and working in remote areas of the Kimberly ( Western Australia). leaving Australia for the three moth break and not making it back for 18 months, and winning the d grade social netball grand final last season!

Teach, Learn, Share

Learn: I want learn how do grow my own food and be a better gardner!
Teach: I teach in theology and philosophy for a living. If others want to explore these areas I am happy to talk ecology, feminist philosophy, politics and community development till the proverbial cows come home!
Share: I love to walk and climb in the Glasshouse Mountains - just north of Brisbane. More than happy to share this experience with others when they visit South East Queensland
