Hey! I'm Aline, a 27 year old PhD student from Germany.
I have finished my studies in psychology and currently pursuing my PhD in busines, focusing on digital sales transformation. My colleague (and very good friend) Sabrina and me will visit Hawaii to go to a conference in the beginning of January (tough life, we know :)). We would love to combine the hard work with some travels before that, visiting Big Island and Maui.

We love spending time with local people and sharing experiences, and thus would love to learn more about Hawaii by staying at a Couchsurfing place. I already had some Couchsufring experience when travelling Australia in between my Bachelor and Masters and it has always been great. My friend is a frequent traveller and one of the most open-minded and most enjoyable people to spend time with.

If we sound like poeple, you would like to spend some time with in the end of December and start off 2023 with, we would be more than happy!

I think couchsurfing is one of the best ways to get to know new people, and to get familiar with the culture of the country you're visiting. Thinking back on my couchsurfing experience so far, this was probably one of the best parts of my travels. We are for sure also looking for a place to stay at, but also to get to know you, your culture and just have an awesome but still relaxed time together.
