ABOUT US

Hi! We are Carina and Stefanie. We made a profile together because we plan to travel together as often as it is possible to do so! So you, our dear reader, can quickly see that we are a double-package that need a little space on your couch. ;D
We are best friends since we met in school. (Sadly that happen to be 'just' since commercial academy and not earlier.) Together we enjoy many interests like music, books, films, etc. Of course we also have our different interests, but we always have the feeling that we are complement each other. I think that's called 'true friendship'. But enough of these soppy words. Let's see what else we can tell you about us...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We have no couchsurfing experience yet, but we have some friends who told us about it and always made good experiences. They also gave us tips about couchsurfing.

Our main point is of course to meet new people. To learn a little bit more of the countries culture or the culture of the person we meet. We are eager to learn so much more than we can read in books and it seems to be the best way to transport information through people.
Maybe sometimes there won't be enough time to talk, because we may only stay one night. But still we hope to get a little country-feeling from them.

Interests

Our brain always seeks and finds new interests and if one of us find a new area also the other one opens up her horizon.
But to make a short list: we both love hiking, reading, meeting nice people, sports, games, travelling, movies, music, etc.

We only list bands we both like so we all have the same topic we can share and speak about
and we only list a little selection of each topic. If we wouldn't do that you would never reach the end of the "ABOUT ME"-part. ;D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Carina lived in Las Vegas for half a year.
Stefanie travelled with the Transsiberian Train from Vladivostok to Moscow.

Teach, Learn, Share

We are native speaker in German. So it may be a good idea if someone want to learn some words to speak in german.
Of course we try to share everything we know, but we all should first find out in a little conversation what you are maybe interested in learning and if we are able to learn you a few things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

It seem to be a simmilar point to the 'teach,learn,share' point.
We are of course happy to share austrian culture, humour, lots of fun and good conversations with our host.
