Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that traveling is so much more than where you are, it's about who you're with, and experiencing the location as authentically as possible. If you are a tourist, maybe you want to experience as much tourism as possible. My goal is to experience a visit somewhere as closely as possible to the life of someone who lives there. Staying with a host gives one a better idea of what housing, neighborhoods, food, residents, are like, all from a local perspective, all while building a friendship!

Interests

Spanish, but all languages really. Building off of that- linguistics, grammar, etymology.
Traveling- state wide, nation wide, internationally.
Learning- from school, books, music, personal experience, skill sets. Everything!
Reading, rock climbing, hiking, anything outdoors really, meeting new people, eating new things, learning new customs and traditions. Putting myself outside my comfort zone and adapting.
