Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find that staying with locals gives you a very different travelling experience than staying in a hotel. They always know about interesting places to see etc. Also, as a host I'd enjoy talking to different people and finding out about different ways of life, showing them what is special about my hometown, e.g. the beautiful landscape and great hiking tracks.
