Im studying abroad at the University of Sussex in Brighton, UK. Only here until June 2015. At home I'm studying Communication Disorders, but I'm here to see the world! I have taken 5 years of French, although I can't say I remember much, and I know a little bit of ASL but would love to learn more. I like to think I'm nice and will definitely earn my stay. No burden here!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While I'm abroad I would like to see most of Europe, but money doesn't grow on trees. By staying with a local, I would hope to gain some insight on the area and learn everything!

Interests

I love learning, and that covers so many different fields. I like singing, theater, the medical side of communication, physics, quantum mechanics, entrepreneurship, football (European not American), ice hockey, movies, tv, video games, philosophy, Buddhism... I really can find something in common with anyone.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like musical theater, and I'm not a fan of scary movies. Honestly I don't read a lot on my own for fun, but I have read all of the classics that they require in school (and I liked them). I like a lot of music, except the really intense stuff. For example, I don't like rap, electronic, or screamo.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So my memory of personal events isn't always the best, thats why I'm keeping a journal while I'm abroad!
But I have climbed a few mountains in the Northeast of USA, gotten a 4.0 in a semester at college, survived two classes of hot yoga, performed a few musicals as the leading role.
Amazing is pretty subjective... so take your pick.

I love learning, and I was almost a teacher. I would love to share knowledge and have real conversations with anyone I stay with.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can be fun! Honestly, I don't party. I do drink, but I'm not one to go clubbing. That being said, I'm up for anything! I will join you in any entertainment you want, or I can leave you alone. I will definitely not leave any mess. I was raised to leave anywhere I stay cleaner than when I arrived.
