love and enjoy Jesus, love and enjoy people!
Finishing up school at the University of Arkansas studying International Relations, Spanish, and Latin American Studies. Finding the balance of enjoying this life to the fullest in the midst of school, living in thankfulness for how many good things and good people I've gotten to meet along the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've always been 100% on board with the CS system; it promotes trust, vulnerability, and hospitality in a world that generally doesn't offer that. Incredible!! Really, I just want to be a part of this community, share life with each other, and become a part of a bigger story! Traveling in a way like this helps encourage that goal.
Also, I think a big part of our purpose on earth is to serve others. If the current need you have is finding just a simple place to sleep at night, or finding community in a new place, I want to be a part of serving that need.
joy, conversations, coffee, reading, food, outdoors, meeting new people, seeing new places, grace, hospitality, lovin' people well
- outdoor activities
- international relations
Music, Movies, and Books
Open to just about all music types, though I feel especially fancy when I listen to my cool jazz pandora station. Right now very much into The Head and the Heart and Wild Child.
Not a big movie buff, so I'd say most of the ones I've seen make the cut for a personal favorite.
Favorite books - The Hobbit. Catcher in the Rye. CS Lewis. Donald Miller. JK Rowling.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going to sleep watching the stars over Buena Vista, Colorado and waking up to watch the sunrise on Mt. Princeton.
Lightning storms in little Colcord, Oklahoma.
Camping across Canada and the Pacific Northwest for two weeks with no plans as we woke up each day.
Teach, Learn, Share
Be open, love well.
What I Can Share with Hosts
for me it's always been about the people - no matter what jobs I've gotten to have, trips I've been able to go on - the people make it real and fulfilling. I'd love to hear as many stories as possible and be a part of more.
