Hmmm. Not living the dream right now but a good man who's very considerate and accomodating. I do tend to be a little shy as I generally spend some time getting to know what another person is like and what kind of humor they have before saying to much so I don't offend. Not that I am offensive...

Moved to Seattle area for family but things didnt go as intended. So now I live alone part of the week. Schedule generally keeps me away from my place a good part of the week until around 2am. Have kids with me on occasion which is why hosting is limited.

Dealing with some depression but nothing drastic or major just feeling down and blue and unmotivated. Seems like some interaction will help.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Not really sure outside of having a decent space to crash for somebody(s). I had some friends back in Kansas that did a lot of hosting and traveling and it kind of interested me to meet new people from time to time and be helpful. Perhaps after hosting and talking to a few people I might consider traveling at some point.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite music ranges and expands to the good and bad based on my kids preferences. Never imagined listening to Taylor Swift or Selena Gomez on purpose. I like most rock from classic to heavy. Women singer songwriters always draw me in. Not big on a lot of radio play these days. Foo Fighters, Rollins Band, STP, Coltrane um stuff and things.

Movies I am a sucker for tragedy and romance. All time favorites would be Cyrano, Truly Madly Deeply, The Greatest, English Patient, Singles (yes yes but when she knocks on his door and he answers and say "What took you so long?" gets me every time), A Room with a View. Also love scifi and good plot twists and movies that keep you guessing but in the end it couldnt have gone any other way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just one? I wouldn't say I was amazing because of this but these things I find amazing in my life. Fathered two beautiful children and learned true patience and understanding or am learning at least from my son. We also adopted a new born.

Working for a non profit helping the mentally ill, the homeless and those in need.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Comfortable living space with a good deal of freedom and privacy. When I am home I am generally warm and inviting and can be fairly charming and/or amusing. I probably smoke too much pot but don't do or allow any other drugs. Don't drink much an d usually just wine, ciders or baileys. My place is yours and any thing food wise is ok to utilize.
