About Me
Hey all!
I am brand new to this couch surfing thing. I think it's a brilliant concept and I hope it results in some lasting friendships.
I was born in the U.K. and have moved about 60 times in my life, so answering the "Where I grew up" question is probably the hardest one on the site. I love to travel. It has always been one of my biggest passions. I love hiking, biking, wandering ancient worlds and big cities, and getting lost frequently. I cook frequently and love working with anything crafty that I can get my hands on.
I'm sure there is a whole list that I am forgetting, but I look forward to exploring the worlds of others and adding new hobbies to my long list! :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Recently I have come to the conclusion that I need a break from the mundane. I have decided that as of my 29th birthday I will be leaving my current job and taking a year to travel the world. During my travels, I would like to visit places that are less traveled by tourists and try to make a real difference in the lives of others. I am looking forward to volunteering in any way that I can. I learn quickly and love working with my hands, so the opportunities are endless!

Music, Movies, and Books
I LOVE music. It is one of my biggest passions. There are few genres I haven't listened to in my life. Music is my lifeblood. As far as movies go, I am more a fan of the comedic dramas/"chick flick" type. Not a horror movie fan at all. Currently my favorite book is Wraeththu. If you haven't read it, do yourself a favor and go buy it. It is incredibly written and pulls you head first into its pages.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 16 years old, I traveled internationally alone for the first time to Germany where I went to school for a short time. It was one of the most amazing things I have ever done.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share quite a lot of things. Friends and family call me a Renaissance Man because of the multitude of hobbies I have dabbled in. I would love to share any or all of them with people from all over the world!
