I am an easy-going individual who enjoys meeting and spending time with new people. I love my life in beautiful Utah, but I enjoy escaping on adventures.

I am enrolled at university where I will complete a master's degree in radiation oncology. I work with cancer patients who are fighting for their lives, they have taught me to really appreciate every day, to work hard and play harder.

My boyfriend and I live together and spend most of our weekends up in the canyons, playing in his jeep, sitting around a fire cooking hotdogs, and hammock camping in our secret spot near Lake Blanche

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing provides an invaluable service to young people looking for the opportunity to explore a new place and possibly immerse themselves in the local culture in a way they might not achieve by simply staying in a hotel or even a hostile.

Interests

I enjoy learning about new places, I love to travel and have even lived out of the country for a while. I love being out in nature and make good use of my prime location between Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons, which contain world class climbing, ski resorts, and beautiful, hidden camping sites.

And I will never, ever say "No" to a well-slung backpacking hammock and a good book!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a range of music. I grew up on 90's west coast alternative, so RHCP, Incubus and Sublime formed my early music taste, but I listen to anything, from Antonio Vivaldi to Atmosphere to Hozier.

I love movies that make me forget about what is going on in the real world and take me on an adventure.

Same goes for books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took the opportunity to skydive with my brother over Zions National Park in southern Utah. I treasure the memory of that adventure, because he died less than a year later.

I am a wiz in the kitchen, and I will teach you how to chop an onion like a pro! Ha!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share stories of my adventures, as well as some mad cooking skills. I will whip you up the grilled cheese to shame all grilled cheeses.
