I am a 23 year old girl who just finished her 2nd major at the University and I somehow found the time to travel around Europe for a few months, which has always been my dream.

I have 3 cats that I love with all my heart. I also have 3 dogs that I love but they live with my mom, where I grew up (Cant have 3 dogs and 3 cats in an apartment, that's recipe for disaster!). I love animals, and all my pets are either rescued or adopted :)

I'm a very calm person, I love reading and watching TV shows and documentaries in my laptop (I rarely sit in front of the TV). I love walking around new cities, admiring their architecture and history. I truly love food, haha I'm one of those people who can go anywhere as long as I know there will be food for sure!

I'm always up for a good conversation about any topic. I think one of my passions is learning. I'm always reading and learning about new stuff (even silly things like what would happen if you pass out while jumping off of a plane with a parachute). I also have a very wide taste in music, like to sing, love the theater.

I'm particularly fond of the European culture and one of my goals is to learn more about it in this trip!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't personally hosted anyone in my life before. I do remember my mom hosted 2 canadian guys for a day or two when I was 12 and I've always welcomed my room or apartment to friends and family if they need a place to sleep but I didn't know what couchsurfing was (honestly, I didn't even know the word existed) until I google searched solo travel on a budget.

Then, I started reading about couchsurfing and the more I read the more I liked the idea. I read a bunch of reviews and blog entries from other women who travelled solo and used couchsurfing to find locals to help them get a better experience of the city, so I'd like to try that as well :) and once I'm back home I can definitely start hosting people as I'm sure it must be a very rewarding experience and I love my country so showing people around is something I've always enjoyed!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a lot about the Panamanian culture! I also love cooking so I'd gladly cook typical panamanian dishes (as long as i find the ingredients). I also have my own apartment in Panama which I share with my brother and if given the opportunity, I'd gladly return the favor and let you couchsurf in mine back home!
