I grew up in the DC area but I love to travel to new places and meet different people. I love to dance; If there is good music around I will probably dance to it, no matter where I am or what I'm doing. I've devoted most of my academic career to Russian Studies, and I've spent about 2 years total in the country. In grad school I joined a Russian Folk Choir, and am now an avid player of the wooden spoons :P
