Overview
About Me
Originally from Manchester, England now live in Birmingham, England. I play eight instrument including singing and I record music. I am a certified lifeguard in the UK and USA. I do CAD drawings for money usually for architects.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to try something new and boost my faith in humanity. I like the idea that we are all one big community that helps each other. The more we help each other (especially people different to ourselves) the more we learn and the more tolerant we become of others. If every one just helped each other the world would be a beautiful place to live. I know it sounds naive but it starts with a simple thing like couchsurfing. The only reason I don't host people is because I live in a family home so its not my decision to make. Plus we I'm a right laugh and I want to have a fun and learn from new people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Rock, indie, heavy metal and chart music. My favourite bands are Coheed and Cambria, Tesseract (I know they are a little obscure but if you know who they are then you are cool).
Movies: I like big blockbusters like Lord of the rings, hunger games, Star Wars and Marvel movies. Classics like Jurassic park, Indiana Jones, Gladiator. Clever films like a Beautiful mind, Good will hunting. To be honest I like everything.
Books: I don't really read story books. The last books I read were about Sigmund Freud, Feminism (just find the arguments interesting) and sound technology.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to an american summer camp for four months last year to teach Jewish children to how to sail. I have always loved sailing. My dads enthusiasm rubbed of on me as a child. The kids were great learners and they had a lot of fun. It was a lot of responsibility and it was a bit scary at times (Had to jump in a save one kid who got concussion from the boom. He was fine in the end) but I met lots of great people from different backgrounds learn a lot about myself and had the best experience of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
Hmm... not sure. I can teach guitar or teach you how to navigate using the stars haha
