Hey everyone!

FIRST OFF: I am currently staying at my parents' place, so I can't welcome anyone to the beautiful city of Utrecht YET. As of September 2015, I'll have my good ol' dormroom again :) So I can repay the debt I owe in Couchsurfing-karma points.

About me... Well, I love traveling! Surprise, surprise. I am a 20-year old Dutchie, livin' the student life (just returned from an AWESOME semester abroad in USA, Uni of New Hampshire - Go Wildcats!). I love to dance, and I am a huge animal lover (so if you need someone to take care of your pet...). I also love to cook (I can cook some nice Dutch meals). I love everything that has to do with the Environment (which is handy, considering it's my major) and I love Politics (so tell me about local politics of your place!)
What else... I love fruit. I am addicted to fruit.

I've had the opportunity to see many places as a kid, since my parents love traveling too. I've been to pretty much every big city in Western Europe and Scandinavia, I've been to the States and Canada, I've visited Mexico this Spring break. I've done volunteering work in Cambodia two summers ago, and I am planning to visit Japan this summer!

I am the hugest fan of John Mayer, I absolutely love Coldplay, Keane, Bon Iver, Mumford & Sons, Ben Howard, The Beatles, Kooks, U2, The xx, Imagine Dragons... Pfff I could go on forever. I love all kinds of music and would love to learn about all the genres.
And - obviously - as a Dutchie I have to say EDM is also my jam.

Books: well, my favorite authors are, George R.R Martin (WOOHOO GoT!), E.O Wilson, Jonathan Safran Foer, Noam Chomsky and Jared Diamond.

I've had the awesome opportunity to spend 6 weeks in Takeo, Cambodia, and teach kids English, Math and History in the summer of 2013.

I love languages, I could teach you some Dutch if you'd like (it might come in handy.... sometimes). I also love math!
