Overview
About Me
I worked with research dairy cows at Washington State University for 15 years and now I'm thinking about developing a small vegetable farm near the Tri-Cities (Eltopia is 17 miles north of Pasco) using sustainable practices. I work part time for a local funeral home and part time as a First Aid / CPR / AED instructor for the Red Cross. I was an AmeriCorps (nutrition education) volunteer with 2nd Harvest and I am a WSU Extension Service Master Gardener class of 2019. I was in the Peace Corps. I work with a project that collects bicycles to send to Africa.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Ran across it in a blog about cheap travel and thought I'd check it out.
Interests
Other than agriculture (my vocation) I'm trying to learn how to sew. I have an interest in fitness and good nutrition.
