Just finished my studies in environmental engineering at EPFL in switzerland and realised that we have enough time in life for working. I then left home with little money, but high motivation to discover and a bit of time. I started a World trip in may 2015 starting by brazil visiting a friend and travelling with compatriots for one month after what I started to walk alone for 5 more months in south america.

The next 6 months will bring me to new zealand, Australia, and Asia before coming back home.

Even if I sometimes like to party, I prefer meeting with nice people, talking and joking around a beer (with preference for artisanal/Belgium ones) bringing eventually to more motivation for a later party.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because meeting local people is the richest thing I found. From discovering really nice people to new cultures and point of view. Hosts can also share their experience and many time give tips about out of the main paths places to discover. The atmosphere is far from the big party hostels where the main interest of the clients is to drink everyday the same things that they drink at home till being too drunk to visit the next day.

Music, Movies, and Books

I hear a bit of everything till it's not too hard metal with exception for the rap and slam that I rarely appreciate. Electronic music is fine, but not for hours and hours.

Most of the book I read were medieval fantastic, polar but I do not exclude books out of theses categories.

Concerning the movies, I m not really difícil for the choice of the movie. It depends more on my mood, if I want to think or just be distracted. I m working in a small cinema as projectionist in switzerland, so I saw many movies. One that specially retain my attention was untouchable because it's one of the few movies that succeed to make a nice story without sex, violence, or love story.
