I have lived in Hungary my whole life. Had a very average childhood. (one older sister, parents separated, when I was still young, average school, with average friends)
I have been singing my whole life, first at home, than in small choirs, but only thought about being an opera singer, when I was 16. We had to choose special classes in high school, dependng on whatever we wanted to learn in college. Thought about is a bit, and decided on being a singer, or a cook and choose biology and music, as my two extra classes.
Since then, I haven't looked back. Finished culinary school, and started working on my singer's degree in 2014. It has been an interesting experience so far, and I hope, that it continues to satisfy me int the following years, as much as it does these days.

It seemed like a great idea for meeting new people, finding new music and food. I like traveling, though haven't had too many chances to go to many places. It would be awesome, to someday go to India, because they have a very active street food scene there, and it would be interesting to eat anything they put in front of me.

Intereses

As I have written before, music and food are my main interests. In opera I found my true calling, and in food I found a calming job, that relaxes me every time I step in the kitchen. I like meeting new people and acquiring new knowledge. Learning is fun.

Música, películas y libros

Richard Wagner's operas are the bee's knees. They are second to none in attention to detail and execution. Apart from operas I love every kind of music. You can show me experimental noise music, or dubstep with the sickest drops, or jazz with smooth scat stylings of the newest grammy winning singer. Although classical music is my main genre, jazz has to be a close second.

I love bad action movies, where you know what happens in the whole movie, within the first minute. They are not trying to prove anything, they are just fun to watch. And biographical movies are also a big favorite of mine. They are most enjoyable to watch after reading the autobigraphy/biography of the person, they are about.

And we arrive at books. Reading frees the mind from the troubles of the mundane. They are gateways into interesting worlds of fantasy, intrigue, love and comedic situations. The best time is when I am curled up in my chair, with a cup of tea and my newest book, for hours. My cat lays in my lap and sleeps, while I read.

When I was 17, I started learning from a professional singing teacher. She was nice, and knew how to start a singer on a healthy career. In the next year we had a big concert, celebrating the 105th anniversary of the music school. All of the successful students came back, to perform for the audience, including a violin player, who studied from Itzak Perlman, a trumpet player, who has a successful solo career in Germany and László Dés, a good hungarian composer. He chose to conduct, and perform a segment from a musical of his, and insisted on choosing his own singers. I was chosen as the main singer, and it was terrifying. I had to perform on one of the most respected stages of the country, and it started with me and a piano. I came on stage, singing, accompanied by the piano, and slowly others joined in. At the end, around 50 people were on stage, dancing, singing and generally having fun. In the end, even Mr. Dés came out, playing his tenor saxophone. It was a blast, and it showed me, how much fun this job can be.

I once read a funny book, by a hungarian author. He wrote that "The only problem with life, is that there is no accompanying track to it."
The thing that gives me the most pleasure in life, are those few seconds after the sing ends, bt before the applause. When everyone in the audience feels the same, and noone wants to breathe.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I can teach you how to make traditional hungarian dishes, or any other dish, I can think of. Also, if you want to make music together, I would be delighted to do so. If you are willing to teach me anything, it would make my day. I am interested in everything.
