I'm originally from Wales in the UK. I trained for 8 years to become a scientist and after a long, hard slog I decided it us time for a break. I don't mind animals, I've never had a pet but my brother has a dog that I take for walks when I'm home. Currently I'm unemployed as I've decided it's time to go see the world so I quit my job and have just started my journey.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've decided to take a career break and go travelling for a while. I aim to cover south East Asia, Australia and New Zealand for the moment but the list may change. I think the best people to show you a country are the people who grew up there hence I think couchsurfing is a good idea.

Interests

I like trying different things from paragliding to diving. I'm quite laid back with most things and happy to go with the flow. I'm not really in yo clubbing anymore, more of a local bar kind of girl. I like to keep myself fit and while I'm travelling I either go for a jog or do one of the fitness videos I have on my tablet.

I was British karate champion when I was younger, I don't practice anymore but I think I could still hold my own ;-)
