I'm Alicia, I'm 25 years and I'm a curious person that sometimes has this crazy idea of getting on a train and start travelling for no reason. I never know what I am searching exactly, but travelling alone is something that I've always loved, although I haven't had that many opportunities to do so. The few times I've done it have given me some precious moments and memories.

I live in a house full of plants that people abandon in the street. I have a poor sense of direction. I would spend all my time learning new things if I could. I like spending time outside, at night or during the day, in the city or in nature. I sometimes need to do a siesta. I love meeting people and I love learning about the world they live in.

Currently I'm travelling by train from Barcelona to Firenze in only one week. This means I'm doomed to spend most of my (vacation) time in a train or making a long stopover late at night in a train station I'll probably never set foot on again. I'm embracing this experience too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing because, for me, a travelling experience is mostly determined by the people I cross in my way. It is a privilege to share my time with those who open their house doors to me.

Interests

I like reading, dancing and film photography. I love learning languages. I like going to concerts. I like to cook and usually my dishes come out well. I like walking and getting lost.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like many different types of music, but what I'm mostly listening lately is post-punk and electronic. During some periods I also get intensively interested in jazz, funk, rap, salsa, indie, progressive rock and new pop releases.

I also wish I could go to the cinema more often.

I like reading novels, short stories and essays of many different subjects. Reading as a need for understanding others and myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've felt very attracted to Italy lately, both by its beauty and its culture. I'd like to know more about the people and their language, which I'd really love to learn. However, my Italian is a mix of Catalan and French and I am constantly making up new words that don't exist, so I apologise in advance if nothing I say is understandable.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my French, Catalan and Spanish if someone is interested in learning any of them! I also love to cook and I'm happy to share typical Spanish dishes.
