I am currently traveling with Charlie Wimmer, a friend of mine who loves road-trips as much as I do! He's a huge music fan and he also does local theatre now and then! You will find a photo of my travel partner, Charlie, in my photos.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been on Couchsurfing in the past when I was touring with my band. Now I am on Couchsurfing to meet cool people when I am traveling... it's a lot more fun than staying in a hotel!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not really all that amazing, but I enjoyed a huge adventure of self-discovery as I lived in my car for a year trying to figure out how to make a living playing music and doing nothing else. Back in 2006-07, before I even found out about CS, I drove around the U.S., looking for gigs and couches... I met many wonderful people when I posted that I needed a place to crash on the musicians section of craigslist, and also met many kind & generous people who were willing to share their homes when I announced at the bar that I needed a place to crash that night. I am very grateful for CS and the amazing network here, as it is making it possible for traveling artists of all types to follow their dreams, while at the same time we all share who we are, connecting with each other, & making new friends!

I now make a living playing music, and I travel as much as possible... sometimes with the band, sometimes as a solo artist.
