About Me

My name is Bjørk, I am 22 years old and I study Gender Studies in Lund in Sweden. I am from Denmark.
This summer I am going to Italy to learn Italian, and I am looking for couchsurfing in Tropea or Cefalù in June!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and I think couchsurfing is a genius idea - it is budget friendly and a great way to meet people and locals. I think it is important to travel with a purpose and in a sustainable way - both climate wise and culturally.
So I think staying with people enables cultural exchange and friendship which is very important in this world where everything seems to be able to measure in money.

This summer I am going to Italy to learn Italian, either Tropea or Cefalù, so please write me if you can offer accommodation in one of these cities, I am going in June, but anything from a day to a week or month is great!

Interests

Besides traveling I'm very interested in politics and justice for everybody, and I think that at this point you also learn a lot simply by traveling.

I enjoy reading (a lot), watching weird movies, going for nice walks or hiking in beautiful places (been doing that in Sweden) and riding my bicycle!

I also love going to festivals, especially small ones, and I listen to a lot of different music; old school hip hop (mainly performed by women), blues/folk and hard rock/heavy etc. And when partying I really like some good DISCO!

I'm into queer-feminism, vegan and vegetarian cooking, diy-activism and cool house-projects that can host these sort of things.

Politically right now I think that no-borders movements and fighting for the rights of asylum seekers and refugees is very important!
