Hello. I am a 48-year-old author/adventurer about to begin "Book Tour on a Bike." I will cycle across the country promoting my new novel If I Should Become a Door, researching my book Craft Beer Revolution, and raising money for the Melanoma Research Foundation. My journey begins in Berkeley, CA. I am cycling down the coast to Santa Monica and from there starting my trek East on old Route 66. In New Mexico I will start heading South-East to connect to the Southern Tier Route, which I will follow into Florida (with one detour down to New Orleans). I am camping along the way, so even available back yards will be much appreciated!
