I’m attracted to the prospect of communicating with foreigners. It is not only an opportunity to practice language, but also a way to open different culture through other people.

Interests

I really love traveling and meeting new people. I often take part in volunteer projects in Russia and abroad.
International volunteering is a way to discover a new culture, meet people and at the same time helping people. I am an active and motivated person. It seems to me that a person should leave the comfort zone sometimes to develop himself.
I am a very creative person, I like to paint and draw something, play piano, or write stories. Besides, I'm good at cooking)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most interesting things in my life happened last summer. In Russia there is a place that we, Russians, call "the Russian North" (this is the area of the White Sea, Arkhangelsk town, etc.). There are a large number of old churches which are real monuments of architecture carved in wood. We have a number of associations and groups of volunteers who want to keep the national culture. So this summer I participated in the restoration of a church like that. Around the Church there was a camp. We lived in marching conditions: slept in tents, cooked food on a fire in turn. I had a chance to work at the construction site. I helped laying the wooden floor and restored the roof.
