Hi there!I'm Elisabeth, a medical student, living in Vienna, Austria. I'm a really out-going person who loves to travel and experience new things. I love to really get to know a foreign country/culture, which I think is best possible through couchsurfing, because you can get to know local people. I am a very active person and always open to try out new things, especially on holidays. I have a boyfriend, Michael, whom I met with 15. We are together now, for over 8 years and we share our passion for traveling and meeting new people. One of my passions is food-I just looove to eat and to try out all the different foods when I am visiting a country. What I love about traveling is, to get to know new people from all over the world and making new friends :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like I said, I think it's the perfect way to really, truly, get to know a country/culture.
My first time couchsurfing was in Argentina and I was simply overwhelmed how welcoming everyone was! All of our hosts have been sooooo nice and just shared everything with us. They showed us around, when they had time to and went out with us in the evenings so we got to know their friends. We even met with other hosts, even though we didn't stay at their place. They just wanted to get to know us and have a drink together-which was really awesome! So couchsurfing is just a fantastic way to meet new awesome people and to learn everything about their daily lives, culture, religion, traditions,....what it's really like to live there.

Interests

Traveling! Going out with friends, reading, playing volleyball, during summertime beachvolleyball, skiing, basketball, running, hiking,....
I also love to cook with my boyfriend and especially, to eat :)
and I like to go to music-festivals(the last 2 years I was at the frequency festival)
