I am a practicing theatre artist with a degree in Linguistics and English. I have worked in a range of places and a range of jobs from a teaching artist at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival to a literacy coach at a men's prison in Kingston, Ontario. I also taught high school english for a year before segueing into professional theatre. I love meeting new people and getting to travel for work. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a theatre artist, I get to play the fun game of not so much money but absolutely loving what I do. While on tour, I want to see as much of a city as I can but can't necessarily afford to do it. Couch surfing seems like a marvellous option to meet some people, see the world from the eyes of a local. I grew up in a major tourist city in Canada and understand what it is to have people take over your home town. I love it but I also like to be quiet about being a tourist.

Interests

I am classically trained on the piano and am currently endeavouring to learn the ukulele. I love listening to new languages and practicing them. I enjoy people watching and audio books and the odd home improvement television show.
