Hi! I am Ilse, age 28 and I live in Amsterdam for 7 years now. I work as a freelancer, therefor I am able to put some nice trips in between my work projects.
We - my boyfriend and I - live on a beautiful spot close to the city, on a lovely houseboat.

During my last trip in Florida, USA, I met a few people who hosted me. I mostly used airbnb or just met people via via, but I was surprised everybody was so welcoming and really enjoyed it when they took me around in the city, or just hang on the couch for an evening. We should do this more in life!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

While writing this, I notice that I mostly read books from Dutch / Belgian writers. I love the books of Dimitri Verhulst, young essayists and at the moment I am reading a book about Hunger / 'food security' which I am excited about. Another favorite is Shantaram.
I love arthouse movies and documentaries.
