I'm Portuguese , living at the moment in Bucharest, Romania.

I moved to Romania in September of 2015 and stayed for six month, living in a small city called Baia Mare, working full time as a volunteer. That was so far the most amazing thing I have done. Not only because I was living far from home for the first time, but because I learned many important things, as living only with what is important and always be grateful with what we have. Being together with people who are rejected by the society and have nothing to call their own but still being able to smile and give you a hug changes a lot your perspective.

After the six months I returned to Portugal and a couple of months later I had the chance to come back, this time to Bucharest, which is not my favorite city, but has allowed me to meet nice people and have good experiences.

I graduated in Developmental Psychology and am very interested in Positive Psychology as well. This is because I believe that we should focus on strengths more than on weaknesses and that there is always room to grow better and learn more.

I consider myself as an open minded person and my friends often describe me as very calm and having a good mood. Is not always true, but usually yes. :)

I should say in advance that my memory is not very good and that I am terrible remembering people's names (but I remember very well the faces).

I have an introverted temperament, which doesn't mean I am shy or antisocial, it just means that you will not find me at 5a.m. at the disco dancing like crazy. I rather going out with my group of friends and stay at a calm place having a drink and having good and funny talks. Eventually I can go to a disco but probably I will be bored and wishing to go home 20 minutes later. I struggled with that enough in the past, thinking that I was not cool enough, but now I just prefer to accept that I am cool on a different way or something like that. :)

Apart from being with my friends, I really enjoy going on long walks with my dog. I admire Nature and love photographing it, something that I am trying to learn more about.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have an eclectic taste on music, movies and books, which means I like a little of every style. From Jazz to Folk, I really like The Beatles and the duets of Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald. I love the Portuguese singers David Fonseca and Luisa Sobral.
On books I am a Harry Potter fan and also Dan Brown and I cannot chose a favorite movie because I really like a lot of different ones.
