Overview
About Me
Just got my degree in Sociology, now heading for a M.A. in Literature. I'm a very independent person who always has time for a coffee and an interesting talk, specially in a cold weather. I'm a humanities one and love everything regarding arts and culture.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is my dream to spend some time in France getting in touch with it's culture and language. Now i'll finally have this opportunity. I joined Couchsurfing because I think it allows for the best experience, that is, to make friends and know your hosts in the first place.
Interests
I'm very fond of Poetry and art in general. I lose the time with a good book or in a museum, and since I'll be studying Literature in my M.A., my main interest is to improve my French and i'll put a lot of effort on it during my stay. It may sound idealistic but my will is to make friends and know the city in a natural way. I'd love to spend this time on the company of people who match with my interests instead of taking a standardised experience on a regular course.

Music, Movies, and Books
A few books have been of great importance to me, and i always return to them. "Des yeux de chien bleu" and "Cent ans de solitude" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, "La chute" by Albert Camus and poets such as T.S Eliot, Cecília Meireles, Vinicius de Moraes and João Cabral de Melo Neto. I also love the writings of thinkers such as Michel Foucault, Jacques Derrida, Norbert Elias and Pierre Bourdieu. Regarding music, Bill Evans, Tom Jobim and Baden Powell are my favorite musicians, and I'm very flexible with Cinema, I'll give a chance to any movie - just to say, i'm a great fan of Woody Allen.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've had a pretty normal life so far... What is amazing about it, I think, is the passionate way I live it and the memories and dear ones I carry with me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a dedicated student in a broad sense. I'm willing to learn about France and to share my life experiences in a spontaneous exchange. Knowing and feeling the everyday life and culture is what interests me the most.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I moved away from my hometown at the age of 17, I study and live most of the time away from home for six years now (my parents still support me tho), so I have many life experiences most people of my age don't. Besides tastes and interests i can share with my hosts, I consider myself a mature person, easy to get along with and respectful. Let's share good moments!
