About Me
After working for 3 years in Portugal I decided to give it a try for working abroad.
I am since the end of 2018 living in Luxembourg's periphery and now I am living with my Mom and my 2 dogs.
Recently finished my Master in Engineering and Product Design in the University of Aveiro.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Cultural interchange! :)
For one, I like to hear stories — they tell a lot about someone's background. They can summarize and encompass many things from that person. Even better if they are funny. :)
For two I love to hear someone speak their native language and understand their different costumes and culture. Naturally I can get the chance of immerse myself into a language that I am currently learning (that is the only given fact!).
Interests
I like to play the guitar and music in general: cannot get enough of it.
Languages and intercultural exchange: stories, costumes, practicing. You name it.
Traveling, obviously. :)
- culture
- politics
- drawing
- guitar
- languages
- travel
- programming
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: everything but extremes (metal, electronic, commercial). I mean it: I have a hard time filtering. :)
Movies the same and I am quite critic — due to my high school and early university years focused on Design and drawing.
Books: mostly philosophy, social sciences (e.g.: Michel Foucault, Jacques Derrida, Claude Levi-Strauss, Bauman).
More conventional literature: José Saramago type. Love it. And Harry Potter for the child-adulthood.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Aside from the sleeping place, I am a friendly and welcoming host, eager to learn and hear stories and talk about everything and anything. :)
People can use the kitchen obviously, with some inter-coordination with me.
