I'm Emre, a student in Ankara, Turkey. I attend to Middle East Technical University. My department is Sociology.
I'm open-minded, laid-back, and a low-budget-traveler.
I'm into spending my free time, by just staring at a world map, by doing researches about different countries and by dreaming about traveling. What is more, I usually miss the places that I've never been to before.
I like traveling somewhere by expanding the boundaries of my "comfort zones", and I try to do it by getting to know new people, new places, and new cultures.
Even though I do not identify myself as an environmentalist, I am trying to be one. I am currently volunteering at Greenpeace. I am also involved in associations that are about human rights; I am attending marches, workshops, etc. as much as I can do.
I believe in solidarity and co-existence. No wars, no violence are needed. We're all citizens of the world.
I hate everything that discriminates people, like racism, fascism, and sexism since these things are the main reasons for degradation in a land.

I want to embrace diversity and widen my horizon by meeting with new people while traveling, each person is quite crucial to me.
Traveling is not only taking photos in front of some touristic places but is also spending time with local people, which is also important.
Even if it's only drinking something or walking around the city together, spending time with people from different cultures leads us to broaden our horizons, that's the best thing that can be gained from a journey, in my opinion.

Books are cornerstones of my life. I do love reading books, especially if they are about social sciences.
I can't imagine a life without my earphones :), I love listening to London Grammar, Florence + the Machine, Foals, Susanne Sundfør, Lord Huron, Debrah Scarlett, Cigarettes After Sex, Il Volo, Oscar and The Wolf, Röyksopp, Slowdive, Lebanon Hanover, and so forth. :)
I'm not the type of guy who is interested in movies, I prefer watching a series and finishing it once I started.
