I'm an optimistic, life-loving student from Germany. I've had the chance to travel around the world quite a bit with my favorite country being Namibia so far. I'm easy-going and love doing spontaneous things.
I study International Politics and History at an international university in Germany. Hence, I enjoy discussing current events and learning about foreign cultures.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I've been very lucky and grateful to have met some of the most amazing people while travelling and staying in hostels. Now, I want to join the Couchsurfing Community because I feel that all of us share one mutual love - the love to travel, to experience foreign cultures, and to get to know people and their perspectives on life from all over the world. A lot of my friends have told me about their unique experiences they gained through CS. I want to be able to share my stories of travelling and life and want to listen to those of other people. I believe that meeting locals is one of the most enriching aspects of travelling.
I'm so excited to fully immerse in this community and become a part of it.

All kinds of books, but especially fantasy and historic novels. I also really enjoy fun, easy-to-read romantic novels

I love dancing so music with a good beat and rythm is just what I like.

My guilty pleasure are Disney movies, especially The Lion King and Tarzan. But I also watch a lot of other kinds - not the biggest horror movie fan though. My favorite TV show of all times is One Tree Hill.

I did the highest bridge bungy jump in the world when I was volunteering in South Africa from 2012 to 2013. This was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever gained.

I believe that you cannot only learn through books, but only if you try to find what you read about. So basically, you can get a glimpse of something when opening a book, but in order to fully grasp and understand it, you have to go out and see the world. A big part of learning is curiosity and open-mindedness. I think we can learn from one another by sharing our personal stories and this is made possible by initiatives like CS.
