We're a Belgian couple that likes to travel together. I (Sara) got my degree in teaching and am now studying social pedagogy while Kevin is working as office assistant in a company that specializes in cooling techniques. In our spare time we like to go geocaching, taking photographs, dance, watch tv-series, cook together, etc. We've been together for about 2,5 years (engaged now!) and have been to London, Dinant, Liege and Ghent on a citytrip and also made an amazing 13-day roadtrip through Poland (Wroclaw-Krakau-Lublin-Pulawy-Warschau-Poznan). In 2016 we went to Hong Kong and Macau in february and made a raodtrip through Cuba in September. Before we knew each other we did some travelling to with parents, friends, etc. We would like to see and experience the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love to travel and are not really a fan of hotels. Not only because most of them are quite expensive. We just really like to meet people in the places we visit. We've visited some cities in Poland and booked our stay with Airbnb. In Cuba we stayed at the typical 'casa particulares', where you stay with the locals. This made it possible for us to meet people who actually live in the city and we think that's great. Meeting people who really know their city and like to travel themselves is amazing to us. We would like to try couchsurfing to meet more of these people and experience the hospitality around the world.
