We are an Italo-British couple from Milan. We have lived all over Europe whilst studying and working, and we are still on the move. We are currently both doing PhDs in Public Policy, but have been changing cities once a year for the past eight years (six of which have been spent together). So it's safe to say that we're not afraid of change!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We're quite new to the Couchsurfing website, but have been hosting friends, and friends-of-friends (and friends-of-friends-of-friends) for several years now.

We had a wonderful experience with CS this summer in Mexico and have kept in touch with (and hosted) the people we met there. We thought it would be a great idea to continue with the CS experience, given that we had such an amazing time and met such interesting people.

We are welcoming people and eager to meet and share experience with new people.

Interests

We are interested in politics, governance, sustainability, food (a lot) and travel. We share an interest in theatre, opera (it's more fun than you might think!), and also in visual contemporary art. If you come to visit we can show you some great exhibition spaces and would love to see more in your city.

Teach, Learn, Share

We love to get to know a culture from the people that make it: we trave to try to put ourselves in the shoes of other people and to change point of view (as well eat yummy food, which never does any harm!).

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are great cooks if you are eager to try proper Italian cuisine (...and British, if you are brave!), or you want to join in our experiments with Korean and Nordic ones (authenticity not guaranteed!).

We love refreshing our respective language skills, and you have quite a few to choose from!
